Aimee was born in Brooklyn, New York and moved to Tarzana, California when she was seven years old. She and her family lived there for three years before settling in Valencia, which has been her home since 1977. At Hart High School, Aimee discovered her love for numbers and accounting after excelling in a bookkeeping class. She took every accounting class possible during her senior year and was instrumental in launching the Future Business Leaders of America program at her school. Aimee credits her former high school accounting teacher Tony Grande for inspiring her career and success.

After graduating in 1984, she went on to attend the College of the Canyons, where one of her accounting teachers asked her to teach the class about basic payroll taxes. Aimee eventually earned a B.S. in Accounting from California State University Northridge.

Aimee has been working in the tax and accounting field for over 39 years, starting at the age of 17. She has gained extensive knowledge in the field by working in every position in various CPA firms, providing her with a well-rounded life experience. In 1991, Aimee became a Certified Registered Tax Preparer through the California Tax Education Council. With the guidance of her mentor David Richardson, CPA, she also obtained her FINRA Series 6 & 63 securities licenses and life & health license through her previous broker-dealer HD Vest Financial Services. These licenses enable her to provide additional services to her tax and accounting clients, such as tax and wealth planning. Aimee believes in educating her clients and strategizing for their retirement to reduce taxes while also combining securities and insurance products to assist with estate planning. She values building long-lasting relationships with her clients and providing personal attention to each of them, regardless of their size.

Aimee spent most of her career working in various parts of the San Fernando Valley before deciding to work closer to home in 2005. She worked for other CPA firms in Santa Clarita before teaming up with Mark Guirguis to start Guirguis & Gibbs Inc. in 2018. Together, they created a successful firm based on the best practices and avoiding the worst habits they had encountered in their previous workplaces. Clients like the unique style and atmosphere that Aimee and Mark have in the office.

Over the years, Aimee has served her community and has volunteered in various organizations, including temples and women's groups. She was a member different organization boards serving as Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President. She has conducted Women and Investing Seminars in the San Fernando Valley and Santa Clarita Valley and also created a Women's Self Defense seminar that combines physical and financial self-defense.

Outside of work, Aimee is most proud of her daughter Charisse, who graduated from UC Davis and works in the medical field. Aimee enjoys kickboxing, Zumba, weight training, walking, traveling, attending concerts, cooking, and spending time with her four fur babies.
